About the Manufactures Calendar
See your whole production schedule on a calendar, and reschedule with a drag
Scrolling through a long list to work out what's due this week? The Manufactures Calendar plots every manufacture on a monthly or weekly grid, so you can see your production schedule at a glance and drag a tile to a new day the moment plans change.
The Calendar view sits alongside the list view on the Manufactures page — switch between them with the toggle near the top of the page.
The Calendar view is available on Business plans and above.

Switching to the Calendar view
- Go to Manufactures
- Select Calendar from the List/Calendar toggle near the top of the page.
The calendar opens on the current month. Use the arrows either side of the month label to move between periods, or click Today to jump straight back to the current date. Select Week instead of Month if you'd rather see more detail across fewer days.
Viewing manufactures on the calendar
Each manufacture appears as a coloured tile showing the product name and its code. The colour reflects its production status:
- Not started — teal
- Work in progress — amber
- Completed — green
In month view, a day showing more than three manufactures collapses the rest into a +N more link — click it to see the full list for that date in the list view. Week view shows every manufacture without collapsing.
By default, the calendar groups manufactures by start date. If your account has production deadlines switched on, a Start Date / Deadline dropdown appears next to the Month/Week toggle, letting you group the same calendar by deadline instead.
Dragging a tile always updates the manufacture's start date, even when the calendar is grouped by deadline. To change a deadline instead, open the manufacture and update it there.
Filtering the calendar
Use the filter panel on the left of the calendar to narrow down what's shown:
- Status — show only Not Started, In Progress, or Completed manufactures.
- Assignee — show manufactures assigned to a specific team member, or only unassigned manufactures.
- Product — search for a product to see only its manufactures.
Rescheduling a manufacture
Drag a Not Started or Work in Progress tile to a new day to change its start date — there's no form to fill in, and the change saves as soon as you drop it.
Completed manufactures can't be dragged. Once a manufacture is completed, its tile is locked in place to protect the stock changes and costing that have already happened.
