Troubleshooting
Can I add a Description column to the Materials list?
Not at the moment. The column visibility picker on the Materials list only covers Image, SKU, Category, Unit Cost, On Order, and On Hand. Description isn't one of the available options.
If you need to see descriptions for several materials at once, open each material's own page to read it there, or export your materials to CSV, which includes a description column.
Why is the Name column so wide on the Materials list?
Name is the only column on the Materials list without a fixed width, so it stretches to fill whatever space the other columns leave behind. This keeps longer material names fully visible instead of cutting them off.
